Since I stopped shaving and let my hair grow. I've gotten more attention for my all natural look. Something that would never happen with my hair all shaved. I think it's ironic when I give up on fitting in I get more attention. For instance on my instagram page. I posted two pictures of me with my scruffy face and I have almost 50 likes on one of them while the other one have almost 40. Who knew that not shaving would help me attract people. But when shaved and proper people wouldn't look at me twice. I guess it's true beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 

On Patriots day I went to New York. It was a long and annoying trip, but once I got off the bus I realized I was in New York City. I love New York  there I can be myself. Sadly, two places that I used to shop have closed down. It seems like yesterday I was there shopping. Times have changed and especially in New York. Also the thrift store in Williamsburg looked smaller and their stuff was more expensive but,  I did walk away with a two cool shirts and a brand new winter jacket. The jacket was originally  $350 but they sold it back for $100.00. Then it was on sale too so it was a very exciting day for me.

I'm not the best looking guy in the world. My eyes are not a bright ocean blue and I can't split my hair apart and make it quaff. Instead, I have big lips, brown eyes, and curly hair. I use to hate my looks. I was embarrassed about how I looked. Sometime I still am then I started to see people of other races getting their hair really curly, and their lips fatter and standing out in the sun to catch the sun on their skin. Now I realizes there is nothing wrong with me because I'm where it's at. I have some men tell me I'm ugly and that they don't date black guys. It use to hurt my feelings, but then I realized that  is their problem and not mines. I am a Nubian prince and I don't care what some person thinks about my image. Then, sometimes I meet men who think I am very attractive. They like my big bushy hair and my big lips and my skin color and my dark brown eyes. Those men see me for more than my looks those men are the ones who see Lorenzo.

I went shopping in Boston the other day and I turned into a shopping detective. I ALWAYS go for the clearance rack. Sadly Macy's took away their clearance rack. But  I went to H&M and they had these sweaters on sale and I was so happy. !

Now that I'm growing my hair out. I decided to step up my hair product situation. These are the things I use to keep my hair how do you say Fleekish. 






These products cost one dollar each at Family Dollar. These products keep your hair soft and smooth. You can't go wrong with the price. Also, you know that feeling when you walk outside and your hair is so shiny and bright? Well you get all that and more with these products. Softee is an old product my mother used to use that back in the day so you know it's trusted. 

I always hated my hair. I always thought it was too nappy and I couldn't do anything with it. I use to be embarrassed when it grew out to a certain length. I thought it meant that I was ghetto and poor. But now that I am older and wiser, I realized that hair is just hair. People get so upset when you grow out your hair to a certain length. Especially if you are a guy. When you have longer thinner hair, it's easy to put in a bun. But my hair... grows up and out and I have to wet it to make sure it looks good. One compliment I love hearing about my hair it how shiny it is. It's one of my best features. I wash my hair everyday and then, I put different types of  in my hair it then I pick out.
